Posted: May 22, 2019 by Cindy Sitzman

The City of Springboro is celebrating National Trails Day on Saturday, June 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The FREE event is sponsored by the Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee (BPAC) and Park Board. National Trails Day will take place rain or shine.

National Trails Day is a program of the American Hiking Society and is the only nationally coordinated event designed to connect more people with trails. Locally-produced events like the one in Springboro are taking place in all 50 states!

In Springboro, participants will hike the 1.3-mile paved trail at Clearcreek Park located at 3500 West Lower Springboro Road as well as the 1.5-mile unpaved trail at E. Milo Beck Park, 3143 West Lower Springboro Road. There will be four geocaches to collect small trinkets for a drawing at the end of the event.

Healthy snacks will be available for all participants. Don't forget to preregister on the city's website.
